Minna Pikkarainen (PhD, MBA) is a Professor of Digitalization of Healthcare Services at the Oslomet Metropolitan University in Norway and a visiting professor at the National University of Singapore. She has been working as a Professor of Connected Health at the University of Oulu in Finland, VTT, Technical Research Centre of Finland and as a professor of Digital Health at Chalmers Institute of Technology. Prof Pikkarainen’s work focuses on innovations related to digitalization in healthcare services and healthcare professions and their effects. Prof Pikkarainen has an extensive track record of obtaining competitive external funding, allowing her to publish in extensive amount of journal and conference papers in the fields of health science, innovation and business science and technology & engineering science. Prof Pikkarainen has a unique background and position comprising extensive professional and academic experiences from five European countries and Singapore.
