I'm Esra M. Abdalla, a Sudanese physician pursuing training in internal medicine and a 2024-2025 ARM NCCIH/NCMRR fellow in complementary and integrative rehabilitation medicine. Witnessing healthcare system failures in conflict zones like Sudan, including my own village, has shaped my career. As the first female doctor from my village (University of Khartoum graduate), I'm dedicated to health equity and serving underserved communities, especially after working in refugee camps. My research explores complementary and lifestyle medicine's impact on well-being in resource-constrained environments. I strive to provide quality, personalized, evidence-based care and make a meaningful difference in my patients' lives.
