Dr. Stevens-Lapsley is a nationally recognized rehabilitation scientist with expertise in leveraging clinical data to optimize rehabilitation outcomes. Her research focuses on improving care for medically complex populations through clinical trials, predictive analytics, and implementation science. She has led large-scale studies on post-acute rehabilitation, including the development of data-driven tools to support clinical decision-making and enhance patient-centered care. Dr. Stevens-Lapsley’s work integrates routinely collected healthcare data, such as patient-reported outcomes and electronic health records, to advance high-value rehabilitation practices.
