Dr. Stevens-Lapsley is a nationally recognized rehabilitation scientist with expertise in leveraging clinical data to optimize rehabilitation outcomes. Her research focuses on improving care for medically complex populations through clinical trials, predictive analytics, and implementation science. She has led large-scale studies on post-acute rehabilitation, including the development of data-driven tools to support clinical decision-making and enhance patient-centered care. Dr. Stevens-Lapsley’s work integrates routinely collected healthcare data, such as patient-reported outcomes and electronic health records, to advance high-value rehabilitation practices. As a leading investigator in rehabilitation sciences, she collaborates with health systems to implement scalable, evidence-based interventions that improve efficiency and equity in rehabilitation care. Dr. Stevens-Lapsley's impactful clinical research has yielded 200 publications, garnered numerous awards, and secured $27 million in funding as principal investigator. She is a frequent presenter at both national and international forums, contributing significantly to the dissemination of her research findings.
