Angela Yi, Ph.D. is a clinical neuropsychologist and founder of Foothills Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Services (FNRS). Dr. Yi uses her expertise in brain injury in her consultation roles at NeuroRestorative and for the American Hockey League, Bakersfield Condors. She is actively involved with the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) and serves as a member of the Cognitive Rehabilitation Faculty, which provides education to rehabilitation professionals nationally and internationally.
Prior to founding FNRS, she served as the director of neuropsychology and rehabilitation at the Sports Concussion Institute, developing programs for comprehensive concussion care to provide community based care. She also served as a neuropsychologist on outpatient brain injury day treatment programs and was a part of team to develop rehabilitation programs for veterans with PTSD and brain injury during her tenure at the Shepherd Center.
Dr. Yi earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology and masters degree in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, Graduate School of Psychology. Her internship training was completed at New York University, Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine and was followed by a two-year NIDDR funded clinical and research post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology and rehabilitation medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Brain Injury Research Center (BIRC).
