Mustafa Rfat is a Ph.D. candidate at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis and a Global Scholar at the McDonnell International Scholars Academy. He came to the US as a refugee and began his academic career by completing a BA and an MA in social work and an MA in public administration at West Virginia University.
