Madeline earned her Bachelors in Health Sciences degree in 2012 and her Masters in Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Missouri in 2014. She earned her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Louisiana State Univesrity- Shreveport in 2023. Madeline started her career as an occupational therapist at Children’s Nebraska treating patients in the PICU, CICU, med/surg units and outpatient clinic for eight years before transitioning to a part time role at the hospital. Her biggest accomplishments in her time at Children’s Nebraska include co-leading the development of a PICU early mobility program, serving as the primary mentor for the pediatric residency program, and achieving her AOTA board certification in pediatrics. She briefly worked for an organ procurement organization as a hospital liaison in 2022 and now works in health care quality improvement for the American Heart Association. Her current role focuses on helping post-acute facilities enhance their stroke rehab programs across Midwest states following evidenced based practice. Outside of healthcare, Madeline enjoys traveling, running, writing, and spending time with friends, family, and her dogs.
