Samuel Allotey is a fourth-year medical student at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He obtained his B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Notre Dame in 2022. Since 2022, he has been conducting research in the Gait Analysis Laboratory at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, where his work focuses on assessing mobility impairments in neurological disorders using motion capture technology. Following medical school, he plans to pursue a career in anesthesiology. His research on movement dynamics deepened his fascination with neuromuscular physiology and perioperative optimization.
