Dr. Bryant Seamon is a board-certified neurologic physical therapy specialist and Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He received his Bachelor's in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology in 2010 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013 from the University of Florida. He did an advanced residency and fellowship with the Department of Veterans Affairs and in 2021, he completed a Ph.D. in Health and Rehabilitation Science from MUSC. Dr. Seamon integrates evidence-based teaching and learning theories to deliver innovative classroom experiences. His research aims to develop novel ways for clinicians to provide precision treatment for post-stroke walking impairments. In addition, Dr. Seamon is a faculty mentor and regularly provides care to underserved persons with neurological injuries at the student-led pro bono CARES clinic.
