Blake Staton is an undergraduate student at Iowa State University. Mr. Staton is a junior in the Biology department with the intention to go to medical school to earn an MD degree and become a physician. Mr. Staton is an honors student who intends to graduate in the fall of 2025. He has been involved with the Alternative Medicine and Music for Parkinson's Disease research lab for two years. His research efforts have focused on the effects of singing on walking tasks in people with Parkinson's Disease. Mr. Staton has presented previous research findings at the 2024 National Conference on Undergraduate Research.
