Laura Lee Landmeier, MSOT, OTR/L, CLT is a Senior Occupational Therapist at the Shirley Ryan Abilitylab at the Northbrook Out Patient Center and graduate of Washington University in St Louis. Laura is an Occuptional Therapist with clinical expertise over the past 35 years in Neurologic Disorders and Rehabilitation in 10 states of our nation. She combines multiple treatment approaches from preventative, remediation and adaptive treatment approaches in her practice to maximize her clients’ safety and function in their chosen activities from eating and basic hygiene to work and community related tasks. Laura is an active participant in the Parkinson Disease Early Intervention Program at Shirley Ryan Abilitylab. She is actively engaged in education, mentorship and program development to continue to advance clinical care. She has presented adaptive and rehabilitation strategies for persons with Parkinson's Disease in multiple community events. Laura has functioned as Parkinson Disease Champion at Shirley Ryan Abilitylab since 2022 and has completed Parkinson Foundation Team Training and Advanced Team Training.
