Dr. Alice Sau Han Kam is an Affiliate Scientist (KITE-UHN) and Assistant Professor, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, at the University of Toronto. As a dedicated medical educator and researcher, she applies Spiral Integrated Research Design (SIRD) to advance competency-based medical education, interprofessional collaboration, and inclusive curriculum development. Her research focuses on concussion education, neurorehabilitation, and knowledge translation, integrating participatory methodologies to address the needs of underrepresented patient populations. Dr. Kam actively contributes to medical education scholarship, faculty development, and mentorship, with a commitment to fostering equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA) in healthcare and education. She has received multiple awards recognizing her contributions to medical education, and her work has been disseminated at national and international conferences.
