Aasheeta Bawa, PA-C, is a Physician Associate at the Northwestern Neurology Clinic, specializing in neuro-infectious diseases under the guidance of Dr. Igor Koralnik. Her clinical focus is on patients experiencing neurological complications of long COVID. Ms. Bawa has a diverse background in neurology, having previously served as an inpatient Neurology Advanced Practice Provider at Edward Hospital in general neurology and at the University of Chicago on the stroke team. Additionally, she has experience in neuro-interventional radiology. She earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, completing her clinical rotations through the Mayo Clinic. In addition to her clinical practice, Ms. Bawa has a strong interest in medical writing and has coauthored peer-reviewed publications. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology to deepen her understanding of long COVID and to contribute to the growing field of post-viral neurological research.
