Jamie Gibson is a highly specialist rehabilitation physiotherapist and pre-doctoral fellow working working with Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). Over the last 4 years he has led a workforce transformation project relating to the improved specification of clinical rehabilitation treatment through adoption of the Rehabilitation Treatment Specification System (RTSS). Working in collaboration with the ACRM RTSS community, London Allied Health Professions network, King’s College London and Dr Gareth Jones of Guy’s & St Thomas’ Trust, he has developed a teaching program that has implemented the RTSS across a physical therapy rehabilitation department, He has published applications of the RTSS to interventions spanning orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, neurology and weight management.
