Luigi Salmaso is Full Professor of Statistics at the Department of Management Engineering at the University of Padova, where he is also the Coordinator of the PhD program in Management Engineering. He holds a PhD in Statistics at the University of Padova. His research interests span various areas of statistical theory and applications, contributing to advancements in data analysis and computational statistics. In addition to his academic roles, he is an active member of the editorial boards of several prestigious statistical journals, including Communications in Statistics – Theory and Methods, Communications in Statistics – Simulation and Computation, Statistics and Computing, Journal of Multivariate Analysis, Journal of Applied Statistics, and Statistical Methods in Medical Research.
