Ms. Anahita Amirpour is a PhD Candidate in medical sciences at the department of Neurobiology, care sciences and society at Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. She has a clinical background in nurse anesthesia and holds a MSc in medical sciences, specialising in nurse anesthesia. Her current research focuses on neurocognitive recovery, and psychological factors in older adults after major surgery. She is a member of the ACRM Cognition in Aging Task force.
