Hui-Ju (Zoe) Young, PhD, CMA, is the Associate Director of the National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability (NCHPAD) and a research scientist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Health Professions Research Collaborative. Dr. Young is a trained exercise physiologist and a certified movement analyst in Laban/Bartenieff movement analysis. Her current work focuses on establishing and evaluating a healthcare-to-wellness infrastructure for people with disabilities through NCHPAD and examining the physiological and psychosocial impact of Movement-to-Music (M2M), a innovative, adapted exercise intervention, in people with disabilities.
