Clinician Researcher - Speech and Language Therapist
Hobbs Rehabilitation
Hampshire, United Kingdom
After qualifying as a speech and language therapist in 2013, Keri worked clinically for five years before pursuing higher academic qualification. Her clinical area of specialism is the assessment and management of swallowing impairments (dysphagia). Her doctoral degree and post-doctoral fellowship provided her with the opportunity to explore the role of sensation in upper aerodigestive function. She is also passionate about education and training, with additional experience gained through clinical voluntary work in Ghana, leadership of a team to secure funding for a national healthcare initiative, and an advanced clinical education qualification. Keri returned to the UK in September 2024 and is utilising her clinical and research skills as part of a forward-thinking rehabilitation organisation in the south of England.
