Clarice Grote, MS, OTR/L, is an innovative advocate for OT, Medicare specialist, host of the Amplify OT Podcast, CEO and Founder of Amplify OT. She is the recipient of AOTA’s 2024 Gary Kielhofner Emerging Leader Award. Amplify OT provides dynamic resources on Medicare policy, billing, and advocacy to inspire OTPs and students to amplify the value of OT. Through her social media and virtual courses, she has transformed the landscape of policy education and advocacy participation.
After earning her MS from Columbia University in 2018, Clarice pursued home health and acute care clinical work. She currently serves as the NCOTA Vice-President. Previously, Clarice served as AOTPAC Ambassador for NC, NCOTA Legal and Political Co-Chair, the Director of Practice for the Missouri OT Association (MOTA), where she helped pass the OT Licensure Compact, and was also the Advocacy & Policy Coordinator for AOTA's Home and Community Health Special Interest Section during the transition to PDGM.
