I am a physical therapist and clinical researcher at Boston University who is currently a part-time masters student at Boston University School of Public Health working towards a Masters of Public Health degree with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025. I graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018, after which I worked as both an acute care and outpatient physical therapist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. In August of 2020, I transitioned to a Research Physical Therapist position at the Neuromotor Recovery Laboratory (NRL) under Dr. Louis Awad at BU Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. During my work in the NRL I have held research appointments at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) Motion Analysis Lab and the Biodesign Lab at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). In February 2025, I joined the Rehabilitation LINC Laboratory at Sargent College under Principal Investigator Dr. Emily Evans as a data analyst intern and after my internship completed in April 2025, I continued my appointment in the LINC Lab as a data analyst. I am currently working on a project with Dr. Evans to evaluate an inpatient mobility program in relation to patient outcomes. I aim to continue working as a healthcare data analyst to better understand how social determinants of health and systematic health-system wide interventions affect rehabilitation outcomes for patients with neurological diagnoses.
