Karina Loyo is a clinical neuropsychologist at TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston Texas. She earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology at Marquette University. She completed her predoctoral internship through Baylor College of Medicine and TIRR Memorial Hermann. Dr. Loyo went on to complete a two-year fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at James A Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa, FL. Currently, she provides inpatient assessment and intervention for patients with acquired brain injuries including patients in the Disorders of Consciousness Program. Dr. Loyo is also actively involved in education and currently serves as a supervisor and coordinator for the practicum training program at TIRR.
