Dr. Jacqueline Kish, PhD, OTR/L, is a research scientist I at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s Center for Rehabilitation Outcomes Research. With a PhD in Disability Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago, her work focuses on equity in community living, transportation access, and person-centered practices in Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS). Dr. Kish has extensive experience in qualitative research methods and participatory community-engaged research. Her clinical background spans over a decade in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and she has held academic appointments at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Rush University. She brings expertise in implementation science, motivational interviewing, and geospatial analysis. She is committed to advancing evidence-based, person-centered care through innovative education and accessible research methods.
