Dr. Jennifer Wethe is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and nationally recognized leader in concussion rehabilitation, athlete development, and sports neurology research. At Mayo Clinic Arizona, she serves as the lead neuropsychologist for the Sport Neurology and Concussion Program, advancing innovative approaches to brain health across the athletic lifespan.
Her research focuses on concussion outcomes, clinical test validation, cognitive rehabilitation, and long-term neurological health in athletes, including roles in major NIH- and Mayo-funded studies on chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). She also directs groundbreaking work in youth athlete development and concussion management.
Dr. Wethe is a founder and past chair of ACRM’s Athlete Development & Sports Rehabilitation Networking Group and has been honored with multiple awards for excellence in research, service, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
At ACRM, she will present cutting-edge updates on the Athlete Development Model, highlighting whole-person strategies to promote athletic wellbeing, resilience, and long-term health.
