Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will be able to describe the distinct metabolic profiles, including amino acid and lipid metabolism changes, observed in patients with sequelae of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Upon completion, participant will be able to explain the relationship between decreased brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) levels and impaired energy metabolism and cognitive function in the CO poisoning group.
Upon completion, participant will be able to identify key metabolites, such as alanine, 3-hydroxybutyric acid, and hypoxanthine, that differ significantly between CO poisoning survivors and matched controls.
