Metabolomics Analysis in Patients with Sequelae of Carbon-monoxide Poisoning 60 Years After a Coal-dust Explosion: A Cross-sectional Study

Learning Objectives:

• Upon completion, participant will be able to describe the distinct metabolic profiles, including amino acid and lipid metabolism changes, observed in patients with sequelae of carbon monoxide poisoning.
• Upon completion, participant will be able to explain the relationship between decreased brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) levels and impaired energy metabolism and cognitive function in the CO poisoning group.
• Upon completion, participant will be able to identify key metabolites, such as alanine, 3-hydroxybutyric acid, and hypoxanthine, that differ significantly between CO poisoning survivors and matched controls.
