Practitioner Perceptions of Aquatic Therapy Across the Continuum of Care: An Exploratory Study

Learning Objectives:

• Upon completion, participants will be able to describe at least 2 barriers practitioners face when getting clients into the pool.
• Upon completion, participants will analyze how client factors (intrinsic factors) intersect with extrinsic factors related to the allied health professional's experience to either limit or facilitate participation in aquatic therapy.
• Upon completion, participants will reflect upon their own experience to identify at least 2 ways to educate themselves on the use of aquatic therapy in their practice setting.
