As demands on physical therapists grow, so does the risk of burnout—often fueled by inefficient documentation and underutilized technology. This session explores how electronic health records (EHR) and advanced rehabilitation technology (ART) can become tools for relief rather than burden.
Participants will analyze real-world barriers and facilitators to integrating EHR and ART in hospital-based rehabilitation settings, drawing from case studies and current implementation data. You'll learn practical strategies for customizing EHR templates and ART programming to streamline clinical decision-making, enhance efficiency, and improve patient outcomes.
By the end of this session, attendees will be equipped to discuss and design actionable plans for introducing or refining tech-based solutions in their own practice environments—transforming daily workflows to support professional sustainability and renewed clinical purpose.
