This meeting will be a collaborative time to network and engage in project development in topic areas warranting urgent attention such as brain injury secondary to Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). We encourage interprofessional collaboration, early career involvement with opportunities for mentorship, and stakeholder engagement. The mission of the task force is to advance scientific knowledge, develop standards of practice, and advocate for the appropriate care of girls and women with acquired brain injury and as such address the inequity of research on this area. To promote knowledge mobilization with respect to research on girls and women with acquired brain injury in collaboration with stakeholders. New members are encouraged to attend!
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will be able to engage in collaborative project development in topic areas warranting urgent attention such as brain injury secondary to Intimate Partner Violence (IPV).
Upon completion, participant will know how to connect with task force members for further task force engagement.
Upon completion, participant will be able to describe the mission of the Girls and Women with Acquired Brain Injury Task Force.
