This session explores innovative hybrid therapy rehabilitation approaches, a framework that merges the established in-clinic model augmented with digital tools to enhance patient engagement beyond the clinic. In the current clinical landscape, where providers face significant operational constraints, hybrid care offers a sustainable alternative that enhances clinical practices while extending therapeutic alliance.
Emerging evidence demonstrates that hybrid methods increase clinician-to-patient engagement, resulting in clinical and operational improvements. Increased patient engagement leads to increased compliance, reduced pain levels, and improved functional scores. Preliminary results also demonstrate that hybrid modalities increase satisfaction among both practitioners and patients.
The session will present data from clinical trials comparing hybrid therapy to traditional physical therapy in orthopedic rehabilitation. Participants will gain insights into how hybrid therapy shortens the timeline for establishing therapeutic alliance, increases patient compliance, and improves completion rates. These enhancements drive improved clinical and economic outcomes, benefiting patients and clinicians in rehabilitation.
