Dr. Knutson will describe contralaterally controlled functional electrical stimulation (CCFES), a new therapy for improving recovery of hand movement and function after stroke. He will describe and summarize the main findings of the recently completed first multi-site randomized controlled trial comparing CCFES to two other treatments.
