Sarosh Ahmed, PT, DPT, CBIS-T, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy. Sarosh Ahmed is a physical therapist at TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. Sarosh received her Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience at The University of Texas at Dallas and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Angelo State University. After completing a neurologic physical therapy residency in Miami, Florida, she became a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer through the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists in 2019 and a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association in 2020. Sarosh has experience designing and implementing evidence-based early mobilization protocols in critical care and neurologic intensive care units, particularly during the novel and challenging early peaks of the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, Sarosh serves the vestibular, brain injury, and spinal cord injury populations in the outpatient neurologic setting. As a former neuroplasticity laboratory researcher turned clinician, Sarosh enjoys aiding healthcare providers translate laboratory research into clinical application through various state and national poster presentations, publications, teaching, research, mentorship, and journal review roles.
