Zabrina Langer is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is also a Board-Certified Specialist in Neurological Physical Therapy (NCS), as well as certified in Vestibular Therapy. Zabrina has 15 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient (general neurological and vestibular), home care and acute care services at NYU Langone Hospital. Zabrina is currently the Assistant Unit Supervisor for Acute Physical Therapy at the NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital - Rusk Rehabilitation. Zabrina works closely with the surgical team at Langone Orthopedic Hospital and follows the most up to date evidence based in order to facilitate early mobilization of patients on post op day zero. Zabrina has extensive experience in professional speaking including Combined Sections Meetings in 2011, 2013, and 2015 and has been an invited guest speaker at the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. Zabrina has also guest lectured for the DPT course at City University of New York (CUNY), as well as worked as a TA for the Hunter College (CUNY) DPT Simulation Lab. She has done research with patients with MS, and recently published a journal article entitled "Effect of Acupuncture on Sensorimotor Function and Mobility in Patients with Multiple Sclerosis: A Pilot Study" in the Journal of Integrative and Complementary Medicine.
