OSF OnCall Director Digital Care Development
OSF HealthCare
Serving OSF for 27 years, Courtney Pilat began her professional career in 2004 as a nurse and later as clinical educator in the cardiac cath lab at OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center. It was during the implementation of Epic that she discovered her passion for optimizing the use of technology in the healthcare setting to improve the experience for both employees and those that we serve. This inspired her to pursue a graduate education in health informatics in addition to taking on the role of lead physician Epic credentialed trainer at OSF’s flagship acute care facility. Courtney served as an OSF HealthCare teleservices program manager and OnCall director of outpatient and community care before accepting her current role in digital care development. She has worked with teams throughout the Ministry to implement and support a wide variety of innovative telehealth and virtual care programs including remote patient monitoring, video visits and other means of connecting with patients both synchronously and asynchronously via digital applications.
Courtney received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Bradley University and went on to receive her Master of Science in health informatics from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2014.
Courtney is married to Eric and they are the proud parents of three very busy boys: Henry, 15, Charlie, 13 and Benny, 10. As a family they enjoy traveling, soccer, bicycling, strategy board games, Star Wars and entertaining friends and family. When she has a spare moment, Courtney enjoys running, knitting and exploring new cuisines.
