Dr. Shaw-Gang Shyu, MD, CIPS, is a leader in cancer rehabilitation and physical medicine based at the National Taiwan University Cancer Center (NTUCC) in Taipei, Taiwan. He also holds the role of Deputy Secretary for the Taiwan Neuromusculoskeletal Ultrasound Society (TNMSUS) and is an Adjunct Attending Physician in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH). His clinical expertise includes cancer rehabilitation, neuromusculoskeletal ultrasonography, and ultrasound-guided interventions.
He also accredited the Excellent Education Award (2019) and Excellent Attending Award (2021) from NTUH. Dr. Shyu is also certified as an interventional pain sonologist and holds additional credentials in shockwave therapy, and exercise-based interventions. His commitment to advancing clinical practice and medical education is further demonstrated by his role as a clinical teacher for post-graduate training and his active involvement in shaping interdisciplinary approaches to oncology rehabilitation.
