I was born and still reside in Lake Charles, LA. I received my bachelor's degree in nursing from Southern University, my master's in nursing administration from McNeese State University, and I am pursuing my Doctorate in Nursing practice from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette due to graduate May 2025. I have been a nurse for 25 years, 12 in my current position. I am the Director of the Inpatient Nursing Rehabilitation Unit, the Orthopedic/Neurological/Trauma/Stroke Unit, the Vascular Access Team, and the Medical Equipment department. I love my profession and continue to learn new and innovative ways to care for patients.
