Doctor of Occupational Therapy Student

Lindsey La Rue is from Brighton, Colorado. She attended Grand Canyon University earning her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She was a member of the occupational therapy club and student program development specialist for the College of Natural Sciences.
In the fall of 2023, Lindsey began her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Des Moines University. She is currently a peer tutor, student ambassador, and student researcher. As part of her fieldwork, she will be gaining experience at Chrysalis Therapy in Huxley, IA, and Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, NE. She is expected to graduate in May 2026.
After completing her Doctorate, Lindsey plans to pursue her CBIS certification and aims to work as a clinical occupational therapist in a neuro-rehabilitation setting.
