Tracey Wallace, MS, CCC-SLP, FACRM, has dedicated her career to advancing brain injury rehabilitation as a clinician, researcher, educator, and leader. For more than 25 years, she has championed patient-centered care delivered by diverse interdisciplinary teams. In her current role as Therapy Manager & Projects Coordinator for the SHARE Military Initiative and Complex Concussion Clinic at Shepherd Center, she oversees therapy operations and facilitates interdisciplinary program innovations to optimize patient outcomes.
As co-founder of the Georgia Rehabilitation Services Volunteer Partnership Clinic, Tracey has helped expand access to care for uninsured individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries by organizing interdisciplinary volunteer teams. Within ACRM, she co-chaired the Pandemic Task Force, leading collaborative efforts to rapidly develop resources to support delivery of rehabilitation during the pandemic. She also co-developed the ACRM Technology Networking Group, fostering connections between clinicians, researchers, and engineers to advance innovation in rehabilitation. Tracey currently serves as Chair of the ACRM Military/Veterans Affairs Networking Group.
Her research integrates speech-language pathology with other disciplines to create novel interventions and collaborative care models. As a dedicated educator and mentor, Tracey has guided students and professionals across fields, promoting collaboration as a cornerstone of effective rehabilitation.
