Dr. Seema Saini, Ph.D., MPT (Musculoskeletal)
Dr. Seema Saini is a Professor at Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy, Pune, and Additional Director at the University Centre for Professional Education & Faculty Development, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, India. She is a distinguished academician and researcher with a strong background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and professional education.

She has been awarded the FAIMER Fellowship by the International Institute for Leadership in Interprofessional Education at Manipal University and a Fellowship in Psychology Counseling from the National Health Care Academy (NHCA) in Singapore. Her research and innovations have led to multiple patents and copyrights, including a Gait Assessment System and several behavioral and clinical assessment tools.
Dr. Saini’s contributions to physiotherapy and education have been widely recognized with prestigious awards, including the Rashtriya Shiksha Ratan Award at the Global Teacher Conference (2019), the Global Teacher Role Model Award at the Global Achievers Conference (2020), and the Significant Contribution Award in Physiotherapy (2024). She has authored numerous research papers in high-impact national and international journals, furthering advancements in physiotherapy and healthcare education.
