Medical Student
Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University
Gwen Baraniecki-Zwil is a third year medical student at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, where she is building on a diverse and interdisciplinary background that spans the performing arts, biomedical research, and healthcare education. Prior to entering medicine, she earned an MSc in Dance Science from Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London and a BFA in Dance from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she graduated with distinction. Her early career as a professional dancer and educator informed a deep interest in the physiological and psychological dimensions of health, ultimately leading her to pursue a career in medicine.
Gwen brings extensive research experience in emergency medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and ultrasound education. She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and national conference presentations. As a Research Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania, she supported both clinical and educational studies.
