responsible for designing study protocols and overseeing the evaluation of how studies are conducted to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. She plays a pivotal role in working with academic and healthcare partners to maintain ethical practices across all research activities. Dr. Mont also spearheads efforts to integrate compliance measures into the innovation process, enhancing the integrity and efficacy of the company’s product development.
Ashley earned her B.S. from Rutgers University and her M.S. and Ph.D. from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in biomedical engineering. Her research focus at NJIT revolved around developing and evaluating robotic technologies to improve upper limb function post-stroke. Prior to starting her PhD, Ashley worked in the Mercer County Special Services School District, closely engaging with children with disabilities, and also volunteered with adults with disabilities through the Special Olympics of New Jersey. These experiences have driven her passion to develop new technologies that improve care and quality of life for those with disabilities
