Caitlin Deom, PT, DPT is the Clinical Manager of Inpatient Rehabilitation at Ascension Alexian Brothers Rehabilitation Hospital, an alliance site of Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. A Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy, she brings over 12 years of experience in neurorehabilitation. Caitlin has held diverse roles throughout her career, including staff therapist, part-time research therapist, gait specialist, and therapy manager at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s flagship hospital. Her clinical and professional interests center on stroke and brain injury rehabilitation, with a particular emphasis on high-intensity gait training and the integration of standardized outcome measures to drive precision, data-informed care. In her current role, Caitlin leads the clinical operations of an interdisciplinary therapy team, manages department and organization-wide initiatives, and champions clinician engagement in research to help translate evidence into clinical practice.
