University of Cyprus, Cyprus
My name is Eleni Giorgoudi and I am a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Cyprus and a Special Scientist at the Center for Applied Neuroscience, currently working as a research associate on the BRAINN project. I have received my BSc in Psychology from Erasmus University Rotterdam and completed an exchange semester at Florida State University, where I undertook courses particularly related to clinical psychology. My research interests mainly lie on neurological disorders, including aphasia, dementia, and traumatic brain injury. I am particularly passionate about understanding how the brain shapes behavior, cognition, and emotion. My overarching goal is to offer meaningful support to individuals affected by serious neurological conditions, guided by a strong commitment to ethical practice and lifelong learning.
