Gisela Butera, is a Biomedical/Informationist Librarian for the National Institutes of Health Library located in Bethesda, MD. She holds a Master’s in Library information Sciences (MLIS) from University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s in Education from George Washington University. She is a member of the NIH Library Evidence Synthesis Group specializing in systematic, scoping, rapid and umbrella reviews. Before joining the NIH, she worked for USDA as a Systematic Review Librarian for the Nutrition Evidence Systematic Review (NESR) team.
