Janene Holmberg, DPT, is a neurologic-based physical therapist who specializes in dizziness and balance disorders at Intermountain Health's Dizziness & Balance Rehab at TOSH. Janene helped establish Salt Lake's first Hearing and Balance Center. Janene has 33 years of clinical care in the specialty field of vestibular and neurologic dizziness/balance problems. She lectures nationally and internationally with many leaders in this field in Vestibular Rehabilitation. She was Awarded Physical Therapist of the Year by the Utah Chapter APTA in 2001 and in 2014 received the Clinical Excellence in Neurology Award from the Neurology Section of the APTA. Her key publications have been AAOHNS BPPV Clinical Practice Guideline 2017, Vestibular Rehabilitation: Advances in Peripheral and central Vestibular Disorders 2019, Pathophysiology, Differential Diagnosis, and Management of Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) 2020 and Curriculum for Vestibular Medicine (VestMed) 2022. She is currently IPC (Internal Process Control Coordinator) for Intermountain Healthcare fostering best evidence care standardization, collaboration on quality improvement initiatives, clinical outcome research and professional development.
