Director – Outpatient Neuro Therapy
Intermountain Health
I am a physical therapist specializing in neurologic care. I graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Southern California in 2002. I worked in the Los Angeles area doing inpatient neurologic rehabilitation at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital for two years. Then, in December 2003, I returned home to Utah when I was hired as a staff therapist in the Outpatient Neuro Therapy Clinic located at LDS Hospital. I have worked with Intermountain since that time. Most of that time has been spent as a clinician and manager. I am currently the Director of Outpatient Neuro Rehabilitation at Intermountain. I am a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy, which was awarded by the ABPTS in 2006. I have been involved in the community at the state level as a board member with the Utah Physical Therapy Association, have sat on many committees and teams to further the reach of my profession at the state level, and within Intermountain. I was heavily involved in the creation of the Physical Therapy Neuro Residency Program at the University of Utah. I have enjoyed the opportunity of instructing classes internationally on wheelchair evaluation and fitting. I am passionate about my profession, and my patients in the neuro realm.
