Dr Sliwa is a Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine . He served as the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Quality and Safety Officer at the Shirley Ryan Abilitylab as well as the Residency Program Director and attending physician. He has partnered with the Chief Scientific Officer to develop the Research Accelerator Program which directs the development of initiatives to facilitate the translation of research into clinic care and fosters innovative thinking among clinicians
