Dr. Mike McKinnis is an associate professor of occupational therapy at Concordia University Wisconsin. His primary areas of research involve fall prevention with community-dwelling adults, clinical simulation, and interprofessional education. His current simulation research focuses on Brave Space and clinical simulation with OT and PT students. He just completed an Aging Strong pilot study, working with a Pharmacist, OT, and Pharmacy students. This study examines the impact of an individualized fall prevention program on community-dwelling adults.
