Cole Hougo is a recent graduate from the University of Notre Dame, where he was on the pre-medical student track. During his gap year before medical school, Cole is a research assistant in Dr. Miriam Rafferty's Knowledge Translation: Exercise and Activity for Symptom Management (KTEAM) Lab at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, IL. Cole's research is focused on employment resources for people with Parkinson's disease (PwP), community exercise programs for PwP, and remote therapy monitoring for cancer patients.
