Mitra Rouhani, PhD, MSPT, BSPT, is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Health Services and Outcomes Research at the Center for Education in Health Sciences, Northwestern University. She also conducts research in the Knowledge Translation: Exercise and Activity for Symptom Management (KTEAM) Lab at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, IL. She earned her PhD in 2024 from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, where her research focused on chronic disease management for individuals with multiple sclerosis. Dr. Rouhani’s research interests lie at the intersection of disability and employment, with a focus on identifying barriers and facilitators that affect employment outcomes for individuals with neurological disorders.
