Dr. Alisha Janssen is an Assistant Professor of Psychology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science with dual clinical appointment in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is board certified in Rehabilitation Psychology. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association Board of Rehabilitation Psychology. She completed her doctoral degree at The Ohio State University in clinical psychology and clinical and translational science. She completed her internship and rehabilitation psychology fellowship at University of Washington Medical Center. She has completed numerous regional and national presentations in the areas of brain injury and rehabilitation. She has authored several book chapters and journal publications as an early career professional. She also serves on the volunteer board of Ability Building Communities which provides job placement and lifestyle enhancement services for individuals living with disability in Southeast Minnesota.
