Michelle Nordstrom completed her master’s in occupational therapy at the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, MN; Doctoral Executive Certificate in Psychology in 2023 from Liberty University and is working to complete a PhD in Psychology by the end of 2026 also from Liberty University. As a civilian she is a clinical research occupational therapist with the Uniformed Services University, Bethesda, MD. She is responsible for research projects focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation, biopsychosocial challenges, and incorporating integrative medicine to promote health and wellness. Michelle is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserves and is currently the Commander for the 7202 Medical Support Unit located in NY. The primary patient population she works with are combat-injured Service members who have experienced orthopedic, neurologic, cognitive, or psychological trauma. She has extensive experience in caring for individuals with complex multi-trauma, including traumatic brain injury, amputation, sensory impairment, behavioral health and pain disorders.
