Kate (Spittle) Payne, MA, is a Clinical Psychology Doctoral Candidate from The Chicago School, Chicago campus. She completed a BS in Neuroscience with a minor in Italian Studies at Dickinson College in 2018. After graduation, she worked as a Research Assistant in the Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center and in the Center for Aphasia Research and Treatment at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) before pursuing a doctoral degree. She is currently completing her pre-doctoral internship in the Neuropsychology Track at Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. Primary interests include the assessment and treatment of older adults, neurocognitive disorders, chronic disease, and adjustment to disability.
